FOR Apprentice Grade
We then went on to discuss how people's so-called 'morality' was loosely
based on one or more of these silly and erroneous reasons for believing things.
You will also recall how I explained that the law-makers always gain a
hidden payoff for doing their 'selfless', 'good' works, and that this payoff
(not always money) is the real reason
why they act in such an 'altruistic' fashion. We then went on to explain that
there was no such thing (to all intents and purposes) as true altruism, and that
you should always assume that someone who claims
to be altruistic is really just using this as a weapon in order to extract
life-values from you.
I then explained how society is becoming ever more rigorously controlled
by secondary laws, rules and regulations. Whilst a few of these secondary laws
are useful, the vast majority of them
are there to control your behaviour and
keep you a good, compliant, docile sheep who will be content to stay in a
small pen, and not attempt to head for greener pastures. These
secondary laws are laws which make it illegal to do something ‘just in case’
your actions might result in harming another human being. For example, I heard
recently that a man was sentenced to seven years in jail for planning (not committing) an armed robbery. This means that he was
sitting in the pub with his friend discussing how best to break into Lloyds Bank
(or wherever).
He received a seven year sentence for just talking about this possible crime!!
This is a symptom of society's quest for ultimate
safety and security - even though this is an unattainable Holy Grail. I told
you that, as an Inner Circle Initiate, it was greatly to your advantage that the
sheep were willing to be controlled by these laws, rules and regulations,
because that leaves you free to live
your life with POWER and FREEDOM. This sort of thinking is central to Inner
Circle philosophy, and now that you are starting to move up the grades, I
want you to begin to accept this philosophy as an integral part of the way you
act and live your daily life.
Let me explain this absolutely central theme once again:
As you move up through the grades of Inner Circle, you will be given the
keys to free yourself from the illusions, or con-tricks which control you. This
causes two things to happen. Firstly you become completely awake. Secondly, you
realise that the sheep are fast asleep, but that it is greatly
to your advantage that they remain so. It is because the sheep remain asleep that you are able to achieve POWER
and FREEDOM.
Now I want to explain this a little further in case you think that this
sounds an incredibly selfish philosophy. In a sense, it is 'selfish', but that
word is simply another weapon (sense of duty/honour/fairness) which other
people have used to control your behaviour over many years.
You see, there is nothing wrong with you achieving freedom at the
'expense' of the mass of fast-asleep sheep, because you are guilt-free
as an open-initiate. In other words, you didn't put them to sleep.
You're not even helping to keep them asleep. They just are (and always will be)
asleep. Do you see the difference? This just leaves the small question which
goes as follows: "Okay, I know I didn't cause the sheep to fall asleep, but
with my new-found power and freedom, isn't it my duty to help wake some more people up? Wouldn't an honourable
person do this? Isn't it only fair
that others should share in my freedom
and power?" Etc., etc.
You notice that I deliberately chose a few weapons in the above
statement. Weapons like DUTY, FAIRNESS, HONOUR. Well, I have to tell you that,
as an Initiate, you cannot subscribe to the statement above. I acknowledge that
it will take you a little longer (you must become a higher grade) before you
truly understand this, but let me explain why the Initiate does not try and
wake-up the mass of sheep: 1. It is not, repeat NOT his life-mission to 'save'
humanity from itself. Rather, he/she is intent on living
a happy, joyous, guilt-free existence in a world of misery and suffering. It
is by example, if at all, that the Initiate has an effect on his fellow man. If
they look at you with wonder and awe and seek to emulate you, then this is good. 2. As I mentioned last month, it is a completely,
utterly futile and pointless task trying to wake up the sheep in a fit of
altruistic zeal. It is a totally crazy stunt, akin to trying to empty-out
the Pacific ocean with a teaspoon. Try it, if you like, but you are wasting
your time. One of the benefits enjoyed by higher grade Initiates is that
they realise these truths, and don't waste
any of their life-energies attempting to alter the unalterable. 3. It is not certain that waking the sheep would be a
'good' thing; even if it were possible - which it isn't. So you could struggle
and strive and pour your life-energies into this hopeless task, and still have a
net 'bad' or 'evil' effect on society as a whole. Again, higher
grade Initiates take as few decisions as possible, they do not become
involved in causes, charities, or 'saving' the world. They act like this because
they know (in the deepest possible way) that they
do not have enough information to take decisions for other people. They are not
gods. They are not omniscient. They do not even have an 'off the shelf' moral
code to guide their behaviour. The result? They wouldn't presume to act in a way
which would alter another human's
life-course. They certainly wouldn't do this out of some sense of altruism, or
'doing good' because they haven't the remotest idea of whether
their actions will result in net 'good' or net 'evil' - whatever these
two concepts mean anyway!
Instead, whilst the 'do-gooders' of this world are fussing around trying to interfere with the lives of other people, trying to 'show
them the way' or 'lead them into the light' or 'save their souls', or 'rebuild
their country', the Initiate is living a POWERFUL, FREE, and JOYOUS life.
The above discussion is very important for you. If you are to progress
through the levels and become fully empowered, then you must agree with the main
points of this discussion sooner or later. I accept that this will be a
'sticking point' for some of you, just as it will be blatantly obvious for
others! All Initiates, as they rise through the grades, have their own
particular 'sticking point(s)'.
For the moment, I want you to understand that the high-grade Initiate has
almost no opinions, no views and has a strict policy of non-interference. This
stance is based on true knowledge, wisdom and understanding. It comes from
having an absolutely coherent philosophy of life. In stark contrast, the sheep think they have understanding of a particular situation, when in
reality they have absolutely none
whatsoever. The sheep think they
are 'moral', 'decent' and 'upright' citizens, when in reality they are fast-asleep,
hypocritical, controlled robots!
One of the most difficult things for you to achieve at this stage of your
initiation, is to examine your 'morals' and your 'beliefs' and to realise that
they are all just so much hand-me-down
crap! The next trick is to chuck the whole lot away, and start again!
It is at this stage of your initiation that you are most likely to 'fail'
or dropout. It can cause a real anxiety attack when you attempt to throw out all
this second-hand junk. Many people just
can't bring themselves to do it. This is because they crave security, and
will cling-on to their old 'world-view' like a drowning man will cling to a
straw.
